 2010 MARCHING BAND - BAND CAMP

The 2010 DRHS Marching Band Season is fast approaching. Band camp (at the high school ) will begin on Monday August 2nd. The full schedule is posted on the Marching Band page.

BAND CAMP SNACKS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

If you are able to provide snacks for band camp or can volunteer to help with uniform fittings, please contact James Ford at 602-481-6138 or jca@azfords.com.

2 parents per snack period are needed to provide enough snacks for 30 students for each snack period. As of this message, snack volunteers are needed for all days and times. The schedule for snacks is below (Snacks that are crossed out already have 2 volunteers providing them):

Parent volunteers are also needed for uniform fittings which will be on Tuesday morning, August 3rd at 9:30am.

 

ANNUAL WATER BOTTLE DRIVE

With the start of Marching Band ahead, it is also time for our annual water bottle drive. Students will divided into their respective sections/teams and asked to acquire as many cases of bottled water as they can by September 1st. The team with the most donated cases (24 or more bottles) will win an ice cream party.

 

 

 

BAND PARENT MEETINGS 

The next band parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd at 7:30pm in the band room. This meeting will include the "Welcome to Marching Band" meeting information.
